Choose the guide for your destination
For Rome, plan ancient monuments and the historic centre in separate groups. In Milan, compare neighbourhoods with the airport and station you will actually use. In Venice, bridges and boat connections matter as much as distance. Barcelona works well when you group visits by district; Paris by nearby neighbourhoods and riverbanks; London by transport line and area.
Each guide covers where to stay, a flexible three-day route, arrival and local transport, and a checklist before confirming bookings. The suggestions are editorial: they are not activities with guaranteed availability, a package holiday or a promise that every stop fits a fixed timetable.
Compare the whole trip, not just the room
Include airport transfers, local travel, luggage, taxes and cancellation conditions when comparing options. Check the exact address and the journey back in the evening. A cheaper room can be a poor fit if it creates long daily transfers or complicated changes with luggage.
Use the official sources linked from each guide for current transport rules and accessibility. Leave time between timed admissions and keep important addresses and reservations available offline. Other languages open separate versions of the same guide; the Italian pages and their addresses remain unchanged.
